in October 2019 ahead of the 2019–20 season. He made his debut on 29 December 2019, playing the full 90 minutes in a 3–1 loss to Medeama. In his first season, he established himself as one of the two key centre-backs in the team as he started 14 of the 15 league matches played before the league was cancelled due to the
